Carla Curnutte is a Third Grade ELA Teacher at Team Success. Mrs. Curnutte grew up in Monroe, Ohio- a small city 25 miles north of Cincinnati. She graduated from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has taken many continuing education classes with a primary focus on Character Education. Mrs. Curnutte has taught several different classes- Art, Music, and Theatre Arts.,She has also been a school librarian. Mrs. Curnutte has also been an insurance agent and she ran a non-profit organization that had a yearly hot air balloon festival.
She is a new resident of Florida. She has been married to her husband Frank for 28 years. Together they have three grown children. In her spare time she loves to swim, sunbathe, watch college basketball, and of course read! Having lived in Louisville, Kentucky for nine years, she loves anything to do with the Kentucky Derby. She designs and sells Derby hats and fascinators. She is also a life-long fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mrs. Curnutte is happy to be a member of the staff of Team Success. She feels blessed to have found such a special group of students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
